    Up for sale are one pair of vintage late 1960's Ludwig wood marching snare drum hoops.
    They are for a 14" diameter parade snare. They measure 1 1/8" tall by 1/4" wide.  Probably made of maple wood like Ludwig's reinforcing rings were.
    They are structurally sound with no cracks and have the original blue paint on them that's pretty worn.
    They lay flat on the table but are not perfectly in round, BUT they are flexible enough to drop into position correctly when mounted.
    It's weird, I don't see any sets at all on eBay right now, so I guess they are getting rarer!
