    Description

    Welcome! For auction is this pair of old Japanese Meiji period cloisonne enamel vases measuring appx. 7 1/4" tall. Not a mirror pair but I am sure were made as a pair. Not signed or marked. Some wear to silvery color on bases, showing the copper beneath. Very fine enamel work. Minor enamel loss under rims which is not easily seen. Areas of bruises and impacts with cracks and minor losses in a few areas on shoulders of both vases. Some cracks/stress lines near bottom in body. General expected wear and some minor pockmarking in enamel in designs. Please see images for details.
